FLV Player and Downloader is an application that lets you play FLV (Flash Video) format videos. This player is based on Flash Player 8, and uses Macromedia FLV Playback as default.

Also, FLV Player and Downloader, as its name suggests, can also download files, and not only to play them. You can download videos from YouTube to your hard drive and save them to process and watch them when you want, without having to be connected to the Internet.
